BEDFORD TWP., MICH. -- A Monroe County judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of a Toledo man accused in a fatal Bedford Twp. crash in late September.
A warrant for manslaughter has been issued against Scott Borkowski, 46. Authorities say he was northbound on Lewis Ave. around 6:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 when he crossed the center line and collided head on with a car driven by Barbara Antoine, 51, of Toledo.
The two-car crash killed Antoine and left Borkowski in serious condition.
Police at the scene said they believed alcohol and excessive speed to be factors in the crash.
Borkowski was transported to a Toledo Hospital after the crash.
