TOLEDO, OHIO -- A fire damaged the site of a former rubber plant in downtown Toledo late Monday night.

Authorities say a blaze broke out around 11:00 p.m. at the former Plabell Rubber Co. site, 300 Sout St. Clair St.

Plabell, which produced rubber products, went out of business in 2006. The building has been vacant for years.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
