TOLEDO, OHIO -- It was a memorable evening for American Idol fans at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo Sunday night.
Northwest Ohio's own Crystal Bowersox, runner-up on American Idol this past season, joined other show finalists for one of the final stops on the American Idols Live Tour. Bowersox is an Elliston (Ottawa County) native who is also a former student of the Toledo School of the Arts.
Before over 6,000 fans, Bowersox performed a four-song in between other performances. She performed her own version of crowd favorite, and American Idol classic, "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin.
Fans outside the Huntington Center were treated to an impromptu meet and greet with their favorite Idol contestants before the show.
The American Idols finalists will wrap up their nationwide tour this week.
