TOLEDO, OH -- Family Outreach Community United Services and the Collingwood Presbyterian Church have established a fund to assist with medical expenses for a local man attacked by the so-called "serial stabber."

A fund has been established at KeyBank for Anthony Leno. Leno was attacked and stabbed as he took a break from his job at Collingwood Presbyterian Church on August 7. Funds will be used to offset medical expenses.

A suspect, Elias Abuelazam, was arrested in Atlanta on August 7, trying to board a flight for Israel. He is a suspect in three stabbings in Leesburg, VA and 18 stabbings in the Flint, MI area. Five of the victims died.

Contributions can be made by check to the Anthony Leno Benefit and dropped off at any KeyBank or mailed directly to FOCUS, 2283 Ashland Ave., Toledo, OH 43620.

Collingwood Presbyterian Church is hosting a community fundraiser spaghetti dinner on August 29 to further assist with Leno's expenses.
