Sylvania Twp. bank robber flees on foot

SYLVANIA TWP, OHIO -- Authorities are searching for a man they say robbed a Sylvania Township bank Thursday afternoon.

Police say a black male entered the First Federal Savings and Loan, 3234 N. Holland-Sylvania Rd., around 1:20 p.m.  He demanded money from the teller before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall and weighing 160-170 lbs. with a slim build.  He was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, khaki cargo pants, dark sunglasses and a dark-colored bandana over his face.
