TOLEDO -- The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc. is responding to the high heat and humidity in the weather forecast for Wednesday and the potential danger it poses to senior citizens.
They have activated their Heat Emergency Plan. The following air-conditioned sites will serve as Emergency Cooling Centers offering relief to seniors.

The Area Office of Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc. is also advising seniors to stay out of the heat, drink plenty of fluids, and refrain from heavy exercise. If possible, seek relief with family or friends who have air-conditioning or go to an air-conditioned place for part of the day.
