TOLEDO, OHIO -- An area-wide effort to raise money for tornado recovery raked in big bucks last Thursday.

Andrew Z's Restaurant and Retailer Relief helped raise $21,818 during the day-long event, June 10.  The radio personality organized the effort after the devastating tornadoes that tore through the area June 5.

More than two dozens restaurants and retailers across Northwest Ohio pitched in by agreeing to donate 15% of their sales Thursday.

Andrew Zepeda will present the donations to the Red Cross' local chapter on Wednesday during his Kiss FM morning show.
