TOLEDO, OHIO -- A popular downtown Toledo bar is hoping to get its trademark statue back after it turned up missing Monday.

John Orr, the general manager at The Bronze Boar on Huron St. says he doesn't know exactly when the bar's bronzed boar statue was taken.  He says whoever took the figure, which weighs more than 100 pounds, must have taken their time.  He believes the crooks must have come prepared with tools to unbolt that statue from its wooden platform. "It's part of the motif of the Bronze Boar and a pox on those people who stole it," said Orr.

The bar is offering a reward for whoever returns the three-foot-tall statue, no questions asked.

If you have any information regarding the stolen bronze boar, you are asked to call Toledo Police Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.
