TOLEDO, OHIO -- Country music stars and The Home Depot want to bring a new playground to Toledo, but first they need your vote.

Each year, winners of the home improvement chain's Humanitarian Award receive a KaBOOM! playground built in their honor by the store's associates.  This year's winners are the country music group, Montgomery Gentry (Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry).   The duo has asked that the public decide where their honorary playground be built, and Toledo is among the finalists.

You can cast your vote for where the brand new playground should be built by logging on to this site.   Toledo is currently in second place in the vote count, behind Lexington, Ky.

The winning city will receive a custom-designed playground built by Montgomery Gentry - with some help from The Home Depot and KaBOOM!.

"This is a great cause," said Kurt Walters, area sales manager. "The sales team participates in this each year with The Home Depot. To have this in our backyard would be a great deal for the Toledo community."  According to its website, KaBOOM! believes that "play has purpose, and that unstructured play in particular helps make children happier, fitter, smarter, more socially adept, and creative."

Voting ends at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 30.  VOTE NOW!
