TOLEDO, OHIO -- One of the two victims of Wednesday's shooting in Central Toledo has died.

Marquise Chandler, 21, was found in the 300-block of Islington shot in the back of head. That same night, a short distance away on Brentwood, 17-year-old Josean Flemming was also found suffering from a gun shot wound to the head. 

Both victims were taken to Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center, where Chandler died Thursday afternoon. Flemming remains in critical condition.

Toledo Police gang units were investigating the scene late Wednesday and say the incident may have been in retaliation for another shooting earlier this week.  Five men were shot outside a home on Fernwood near Wells late Monday night.  None of the men were seriously injured.
