TOLEDO, OHIO -- Toledo Police and the FBI are searching for a man who is said to have robbed a West Toledo bank, near Central Ave. and Secor Rd., Friday afternoon.
Police were called to the Sun Federal Credit Union at 3341 Executive Parkway on a report of a robbery. The FBI says the suspect entered the bank around 1:50 p.m. and verbally demanded money from the teller. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Authorities say he got into a vehicle and fled from behind the bank building.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, 5'6" t0 5'9" tall and weighing between 160-180 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded-sweatshirt and black pants, sunglasses and a bandana covering his face. There is no description on the suspect vehicle.
