TOLEDO -- The scene of a wild shootout back in October re-opened Thursday afternoon.
The owner of Route 66 says two off-duty police officers will now keep watch outside the bar on weekends. Officers will also scan all patrons with a metal-detecting wand before they enter.
Earlier this week, a Toledo judge ruled the bar could re-open only if the above security measures were put in place.
The bar, located near the University of Toledo campus, re-opened Thursday at 1:00 p.m.
