SYLVANIA -- UPDATE: The Lucas County Coroner has identified the man who was shot by a Sylvania homeowner in a potential home invasion Friday morning.
The victim's name is Louis Mason. He is 28-years-old, according the to Lucas County Coroner.
Police were called to 6945 Williamsburg Drive near Olander Park in Sylvania around 1:00 a.m. Friday on a report of a shooting.
When they arrived they found one man dead inside the home.
Authorities tell NBC24 four people were living inside the home when they arrived, including the homeowner, a woman and two teenagers. Police are now saying the victim is a black male who did not live at the residence.
A hand gun has been taken from the scene by authorities.
The home is owned by Clay Hausenfleck, according the the Lucas County Auditor. Police say more than 200 marijuana plants were discovered in the basement of the home.
Hausenfleck has been identified as the shooter and has been booked into the Lucas County Jail on felony drug possession charges.
Toledo Police are assisting the Sylvania Police Department in the investigation.
