COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A top aide to former Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann has pleaded guilty to theft in office, unauthorized use of state property and other charges.

Anthony Gutierrez entered the pleas Monday to six of 10 charges that largely involved allegations related to his former business, MTV Construction of Youngstown.

As part of his plea deal, Gutierrez agrees to cooperate with further investigations of Dann. Attorneys also have recommended that he serve 45 days in jail.

Gutierrez was at the center of a scandal that led Dann to resign last year. Two women working in the attorney general's office accused Gutierrez of sexually harassing them, and he was fired.

Gutierrez entered his pleas just as jury selection was to begin in his trial in Columbus.
