Vigil for missing, disabled Toledo woman

TOLEDO -- Friends and family will hold a vigil for a missing Toledo woman Thursday evening.

Cindy Sumner, 21, was reported missing two weeks ago after she called her mother and told her she was on her way home from a bike ride. 

A candlelight vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Salem Church on Huron St.

Sumner suffers from muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis and learning disabilities. 

According to reports, the developmentally disabled woman has been spotted several times since she was reported missing on Friday, Aug. 7 .  The sightings have all been in East Toledo.

Sumner, who turned 21 on Aug. 11, is 5'4" tall and weighs 120 lbs.  She has brown hair and hazel eyes.
