TOLEDO -- State budget cuts have hit a local YMCA.
The South Toledo Y will leave its current building along the Anthony Wayne Trail and move into a new location on the University of Toledo Health Science Campus. Child care services will be split among the other YMCA facilities.
Earlier this year the YMCA trimmed its budget by $800,000 to address financial concerns.
Cedar Creek Church will move into the Anthony Wayne Trail location. The group plans to convert the current South Y building to provide worship services and social outreach.
