FAIRBORN, OHIO (AP) -- Ohio hockey fans have helped raise more than $20,000 for a teen player who suffered a broken neck last month.

Kyle Cannon's medical expense fund has benefited from a pre-sale of tickets to a Dayton Bombers game, an auction of hockey memorabilia, and donations for photos taken with the Stanley Cup.

Kyle has been paralyzed since he was injured Nov. 30 during a tournament in southwest Ohio. The 14-year-old Toledo-area high school freshman is undergoing rehabilitation at the University of Michigan children's hospital.

His father, stepmother and 22 other family members attended the Bombers' hockey game fundraiser Sunday evening in Fairborn.

Players and officials from the minor league team also donated to the fund.
