UTMC to lay off up to 50 employees

TOLEDO, OHIO -- Some workers at the University of Toledo Medical Center may be forced to shop on a tighter budget this holiday season.

UTMC has announced it will lay off 12 to 50 employees. Notices are expected to go out next week.

The medical center says it is restructuring to keep up with the ongoing financial crisis.
