COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Running on empty didn't get some suspected crooks very far. Police in Cookeville, Tennessee, report the trio ran out of gas before making it out of the parking lot. According to officers, the trio stole a recliner from a Goodwill store and loaded it into the back of the truck. Officers say they found the stalled vehicle in the lot, after someone called to report the crime. Now, three men are charged with theft of property under $500.
