TOLEDO -- It has been a whirlwind 36 hours for a group of Toledo residents who took a coach bus to Washington, D.C. to witness the second inaugural of President Barack Obama. The group left Toledo Sunday night at 9 p.m. The group returned to Toledo early this morning. Michael Huggins, organized the bus trip as he did four years ago for Mr. Obama's first inaugural. "One of your highest moments you could ever hope to have is to go to Washington, D.C. for the inauguration; I took my granddaughter who is 8 years old," Mr. Huggins said. For 88-year-old Gladys Glenn, this was her second presidential inauguration. "It was exciting to be there and to see all of the people and watch history being made," Mrs. Glenn said.
Inauguration officials say that at least one million people were at the Capitol on Monday.
Michael Huggins is planning a bus trip to the Undergound Railroad exhibit in Cincinnati this spring.
