HOLLAND -- People Who Care, held a craft and gift show to benefit Honor Flight Northwest Ohio, was held between November 10th and 11th at Holland Gardens, located at 6530 Angola Road, Holland.

Honor Flight Northwest Ohio, is a non-profit organization founded in 2007 to send the veterans of Northwest Ohio to Washington, DC to see the memorials.

At the craft show, there was a 50/50 raffle, where half of the proceeds would be put towards helping to send veterans to Washington, DC this year.

$400 is needed to send each veteran.

Sherrie Thompson, who helped organize the craft show, commented about how the craft show is helping veterans.
Thompson said, “(the craft show) in conjunction with Veterans Day, the Honor Flight, just seemed to go hand-in-hand.”
