(Toledo)--Sometimes the best ideas just need a little help to make them become a reality.
One local agency's mission is to do just this, for the benefit of everyone not to mention the environment.
Jim Matzinger is a man on a mission. He wants to make sure northwest Ohio is in the forefront when it comes to green manufacturing and overall products. The company he works for, Northwest Ohio Green Products Center, is constantly searching for good people and ideas to make this all happen.
Spartan Chemicals and Lott Industries are just two well known local companies receiving help either in producing or promoting their eco-friendly initiatives. Matzinger tells me there are so many others waiting to be discovered.
Matzinger works with an advisory board with members from UT, OSU, and the USDA. To learn more about the Northwest Ohio Green Products Center, log onto www.nwohiogreenproducts.org. You can also call 419-724-8343.
