TOLEDO -- Toledo Police are searching for a 20-year-old developmentally disabled woman last known to be at Jamie Farr Park Thursday.
Cindy Sumner, 20, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, was last heard from via cell phone around 2:45 p.m Friday. Her family says she went to the park Thursday to ride her bike. They told police that Cindy phoned saying she was on her way home.
She is 5'4" tall and weighs 120 lbs. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Police say her boyfriend, Nathaniel David Lane, is currently in custody of police on unrelated charges. Lane, 21, a registered sex offender, was apprehended Friday, by the Fugitive Task Force.
Investigators have not released any further details; however, they say they have deployed a search team in and around Jamie Farr Park on North Summit Street in North Toledo.
Sumner was last seen wearing a Friendly Center shirt and riding a blue and white bicycle with a flower and teddy bear attached to the handlebars.
