TOLEDO -- The Lucas County Auditor's office is giving itself a pat on the back.

The county is the first in the state of Ohio which allows property opwners to submit their home value complaints via email.

This news comes as the deadline to file your challenges draws near.

The BOR has typically only been able to accept applications that have been submitted via traditional mail or hand delivered to the Auditor's Office.

Now, citizens can submit either a PDF or JPEG version of their complaint to AuditorBOR@co.lucas.oh.us

The deadline to file Board of Revision complaints is Monday April 1 at 5pm.
