Friday, December 14, 2012  Toledo Police have arrested one suspect in the double shooting that killed Lamine Wilson and injured Kenneth Lee on Friday morning. Authorities took Danny Kendzierski into custody, just 8 hours after the shooting, at a home on Magyar Street in Toledo.

Wednesday, October 19, 2011  Fire departments surrounding Oregon took part in staging a mass casualty drill at Cardinal Stritch High School. The drill came to light after the Indiana State Fair stage collapse in August, where five deaths and multiple injuries occurred. Oregon, Jerusalem twp, and Northwood Fire departments, along with Life Star and St. Charles Hospital, collaborated together to a local effort for preparedness in such emergencies.
