Bambi survived Hurricane Katrina a fiery crash on the Ohio Turnpike Thursday morning. After being safely ejected from a burning car hauler as it crashed, Bambi disappeared and her owner and his family want her back.

The Toledo Animal Shelter is want's you to taste some wine, cheese and fancy chcolate to help raise money. Casper's Restaurant will be hosting the event on October 12th at 8pm.

There is an rise in the population of cats and kittens in Northwest Ohio. According to Helen Bensch the executive director of the Toledo Animal Shelter it has become so bad that they have been forced to turn people away who come do drop off cats.
