Authorities hope sex offender’s numerous tattoos will make him easier to find

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is asking for the public's help to find a Tier III offender wanted on a warrant for failing to verify his address.
Investigators with the Lucas County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for the arrest of Michael Vanscoder on December 14, 2012.
According to public records, the suspect was convicted in 2004 and in 2009 of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor. He was released from prison in May 2012 and last registered his address on 17th Street in Toledo in October.
Records indicate that his crimes were committed against juvenile females.
The suspect has several tattoos, including a cross on his right hand, tattoo sleeves on both arms, and several tattoos on his neck.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Michael Vanscoder should contact the Lucas County Sheriff's Office or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) at 855-BCI-OHIO (855-224-6446).
