TOLEDO -- Saturday is the annual Stamp Out Hunger effort.

Each year, the National Association of Letter Carriers teams up with customers on their route for the largest single day food drive, nationwide.

Residents are encouraged to participate by leaving non-perishable food items such as canned veggies, fruis, pasta, cereal and soups at or near their mailbox.

The donations will go into food banks and pantries across northwest Ohio.
