UPDATE: TOLEDO -- The pedestrian involved in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday has been identified as 42-year-old Isaac Goff of Toledo.

According to the police report, Goff was found injured in the left westbound lane near 740 W. Alexis Rd. The victim was taken to a Toledo hospital by Lucas County Life Squad.

At the time of the report, the man was on Life Support with serious injuries. Police are searching for the driver, who reportedly left the scene after the incident.

 

Original Report: A man was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries early Thursday after he was struck by a vehicle on Alexis Road.

The man was found just before 2 a.m. in the road near Lewis Avenue. Dispatchers said he suffered critical injuries.

Toledo police are searching for the driver, who reportedly left the scene after the incident.
