WAUSEON -- In Wauseon, school district leaders approved $375,000 in budget cuts in a vote of 5 to 0.

According to The Blade, many of those reductions will involve cuts to staffing in the 2013-2014 school year, including the layoffs of one gym teacher, a third grade teacher, a French teacher and five other supplemental teacher contracts.

The cuts come as a resolution to Wauseon Exempted School Village School's $370,000 deficit.
