DEFIANCE COUNTY -- An Oakwood woman is facing life behind bars after being indicted in the shooting death of her husband, Robert Breininger, nearly 10 years ago.

A Defiance County grand jury indicted 45-year-old Judith Hawkey. The charges come from what was originally reported as the accidental shooting death of her husband in November of 2003.

Prosecutors reopened the case 10 months ago. Hawkey is also facing charges of child endangering and insurance fraud.
