Gov. John Kasich’s state funding plan for local schools shows substantial increases for some of the districts, and little to nothing for others.

Rossford school district is slated to receive the highest increase at 48 percent, which translates into $800,000 dollars in additional funding. Springfield school district will get a 38 percent increase.

Ottawa Hills, Washington Local, Fremont and five others will receive at least a 20 percent hike. But Toledo Public Schools will get nothing in the way of new funds, according to the simulated data.

The budget plan won't be voted on until later this year.
