TOLEDO -- Police are looking for two men responsible for a bank robbery in North Toledo.

Police say it happened 9:10 am on Saturday when two men entered the Charter One Bank on Lewis Avenue. Police add at least one of the suspects was armed with a gun. One of the suspects jumped the counter and took an unknown amount of cash from the tellers drawer.

Those suspects fled in a stolen car after the robbery. That triggered an extensive search of the area by multiple police agencies. The Monroe County Sheriff's Department even sent their helicopter and canine units to look for the men.

Those suspects remain on the loose as the FBI Northwest Ohio Safe Streets Task Force leads the investigation. If you have information about the robbery, you're urged to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
