FOSTORIA -- Two children and their mother were killed last night in Seneca County when the car they were riding in ran a stop sign.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the accident happened just after 7 on County Road 7 and Township Road 112 in Hopewell Township, outside of Tiffin. 27-year-old Terry Bryant Jr. was traveling westbound when he ran a stop sign, causing a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Kristopher Strafford, to hit the passenger side door. Both vehicles traveled off the road and overturned several times.

Bryant's passengers, 25-year-old Bethany Garner, 7-year-old Skyler Bryant, and 4-year-old Angel Bryant were all pronounced dead at the scene. A third child was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.  Both drivers were also transported to local hospitals.

The crash remains under investigation.
