PERRYSBURG -- Today was the annual Mutt Strut, a fundraiser for the Wood County Humane Society.

The event was located at the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve in Perrysburg.

Around 100 people attended, and were able to walk their dogs around the preserve. Also they could show off their dogs, in the many activities, that took place.

There was a beauty "pawgeant," where a king and queen dog were chosen, as well as many other awards.

Jaqui Nathan, a volunteer Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the Wood County Humane Society, commented on how much was expected to be raised.

Nathan said, "we would love to raise $15,000...but if we get to $10,000 we would be very pleased."
