Toys R Us offering free holiday layaway

Toys R Us has just announced free layaway until Halloween.

The deal applies to a variety of its products, including toys, video games and swing sets, according to CNNMoney. After Oct.31 the price of layaway increases to $5.

Layaway plans have become more popular lately due to uncertainty in the economy.
