TOLEDO -- Toledo Police are likely bracing themselves after around a half dozen people were injured, and two people were killed, in 4 separate shootings overnight.

By 5 p.m. Wednesday, TPD was already investigating two more shootings.

One was reported just before 5 p.m. at Ottawa Drive near Rosedale Avenue and another took place around 12:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Fernwood.

The violence, overnight, took place during a 6-hour window that began around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and ended just after 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The week also started off with the city’s 14th homicide of the year when 29-year-old Marcos Pecina was gunned down in east Toledo.

The shootings then resumed on Tuesday night when 24-year-old Dustin Matney was shot in front of a home on the 1200 Block of Colburn in South Toledo.

Next, 24-year-old Antwoine Huggins would be shot in the back in front of 346 Mettler in North Toledo.

Emergency responders got to the scene, around 1 a.m., and would take Huggins to St. Vincent's Hospital where he would later die from his injuries.

At 2:14 a.m., gun shots would ring out again.

Authorities say that between 20 and 25 bullets were fired during a shooting at Remy's Gentleman’s Club on Matzinger in North Toledo.

4 victims, including Keshawn Jennings, James Moore, Sean Johnson and Terrill Bennett, would suffer injuries but none of them would be life-threatening.

An hour later, 19-year-old Omar Braswell Sutton would arrive at St. Vincent’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Sutton, like Huggins, would die a short time after arriving at the hospital.

Investigators believe Sutton was gunned down somewhere near the intersection of Collingwood and Bancroft in the Old West end.

Soon after, fire officials would be dispatched to the home where the shooting all started Tuesday night.

Officials believe someone intentionally set a blaze to the crime scene along Colburn at around 4 a.m.

Police say they have no suspects in any of the shootings.

Toledo Police also responded to a stabbing, early Wednesday morning, at the Moody Manor Apartments parking lot near Cherry and Bancroft.

If you have information on any of these crimes you are asked to contact Toledo Police or CrimeStoppers at 419-255-1111.
