TOLEDO -- There will be no planned summer vacation for workers on the Wrangler assembly line at the Toledo North Chrysler Complex.
The automaker says the company will not shutdown the Wrangler line for two weeks this summer because of such a high demand for the Toledo built Jeep. Wrangler sales were up 35% last month.
Usually, the plant shuts down for two weeks around the Fourth of July holiday for maintenance.
The Liberty line will shut down for two weeks this summer.
