TOLEDO -- With pit bulls officially removed from Ohio's "vicious dog" definition this year, the Lucas County dog warden hopes to clear misconceptions about this breed through a community conversation.

On Wednesday night, the warden and other local experts will be on hand for the 'Pit Bulls--Oh My!' forum at the EMS Training Center in downtown Toledo.

Event details: Pit Bulls--Oh My!

The representatives will answer questions, discuss what local groups and individuals are doing in Toledo to help dogs in need and show off some furry ambassadors.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
