Community comes together to help victims of Chardon High School shooting

CHARDON, OHIO -- Two groups that helped raise money for the victims of the Chardon High School shoting have collected about $600,000 in donations in the 3 weeks since the tragedy.

The Chardon Healing Fund and Chardon Angels of Hope formed shortly after the February 27 shooting rampage that left 3 students dead and two others seriously wounded. A 17-year-old suspect has been charged with the rampage.

The Healing Fund alone has collected a half million dollars.
