NORTH TOLEDO -- As of late Thursday, Toledo Police were still searching for 20-year-old Kiron Renfroe.

Authorities have charged him with felonious assault following the shooting of 32-year-old Duron Bell.

Investigators say Renfroe shot Bell in the chest, arm and ear near the intersection of Stickney and Bronson on Thursday afternoon.

After the shooting, around 4:30 p.m., Bell ran to a nearby gas station at the intersection of Central and Stickney.

Officials responded to the business, across from Woodward High School, and transported Bell to Mercy St. Vincent's for treatment.

At last check, Bell was listed in serious condition.

If you have any information about the shooting, tips can be called into Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.

According to the Ohio Attorney General's website, Renfroe is living as a registered sex offender in Toledo after a 2011 conviction in 2011 for sexual battery.

The website bustedmugshots.com also has profile of Renfroe which lists rape and several other traffic charges placed against the 20-year-old in Oregon, OH.
