Toledo suburb residents get a chance to voice their opinions on TARTA this week.

TARTA will hold meetings in Maumee, Perrysburg, Sylvania, Toledo and Rossford in response to increasing complaints about transportation needs. The transportation authority also wants input from the public on ways to improve transit around Toledo.

Several suburb cities want to opt out of Toledo's bus system because they believe their tax dollars are subsidizing services for other communities.

On Tuesday, anyone can attend meetings at the Maumee Branch Library from 1 to 3 p.m. and Way Public Library in Perrysburg from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

On Wednesday, meetings will be held at the Sylvania Senior Center from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and The Ability Center of Greater Toledo from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The last meetings on Thursday are at Rossford Community Center from 1 to 3 p.m. and Way Public Library in Perrysburg from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
