COLUMBUS -- If an Ohio lawmaker gets his way, it would be a crime to drive in the left lane unless you're passing another vehicle or exiting a highway.

State Rep Ron Maag from Lebanon says it's dangerous when drivers try to pass slower motorists in the right lane.

The state patrol tells the columbus dispatch it doesn't know how it would enforce such a law.

Maag's bill would also boost the speed limit on all ohio interstate's to 70mph.
