TOLEDO -- It's only a couple years old, but the Huntington Center in Downtown Toledo is getting some global recognition.
The concert industry magazine Venues Today ranked the Huntington Center 8th in the world in the 5,001 to 10,000 seat category.
Last year the Huntington Center generated $7,370,365 in ticket sales and had an attendance of 147,942.
That's an improvement over 2010 when Venues Today ranked the arena 11th in the world with just over $5 million in ticket sales and more than 142,000 in attendance.
2011 saw acts such as Kid Rock, two Bob Seger shows and Rush.
