TOLEDO -- Northwest Ohioans will have to wait another two months before they are able to play the slot machines at the new Hollywood Casino.

A consultant for Ohio's Casino Control Commission is recommending the board delay the casino's opening to June so a licensing investigation can be completed.

In December, state regulators warned Penn National that its spring opening would be in jeopardy if a financial baker's board of directors did not submit to background checks as required by law.

The gaming commission says that process is taking longer than expected.

Cleveland's casino's opening will also be delayed two months.
