MORENCI, MICHIGAN -- 250 people gathered at the Morenci, Michigan high school to mark the one year mark of the disappearance of Alexander, Andrew and Tanner Skelton.  The brothers were last seen in the backyard of their father's home on Thanksgiving Day 2010.  The next day, the boys' father John Skelton attempted unsuccessfully to kill himself and the boys were nowhere to be found.  Despite a lengthy search no sign of the boys has been found.  John Skelton has told police that he did not harm his boys and that they are in a safe place, though he has declined to specify that place.  The police don't believe Skelton and are treating the case as a homicide.

Nevertheless, Tanya Zuvers, the mother of the missing brothers maintains the hope that her three sons are alive.  "In my heart I don't feel that they are gone and as their mom I can't lose hope," Ms. Zuvers said.

Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks also was at Sunday's vigil and said the investigation has no gone cold, yet.  "We still continue to work on a number of investigative leads and if it gets to the point that it is a cold case we will let everyone know but we are not there yet," Chief Weeks said.

There is a $60,000 cash reward being offered in the case.  Anyone with information should call the Morenci Michigan Police Department at 517-458-6828.
