TOLEDO -- There's an app for most needs in your mobile life, but now the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library boasts the very first public library app in Ohio.
Patrons can stay current with seven days of programming and happenings at the main library--as well as all 19 branch locations--on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch for free.
"We believe mobile access to Library information makes things easier for our patrons on the go," media relations coordinator Rhonda Sewell wrote in a release. "With this new app, patrons can stay on top of book discussions, children’s programming, authors events and other exciting happenings at the library!"
The app was developed in-house by library staff and can be downloaded from the iTunes Store by typing "Toledo-Lucas County Public Library" in the search bar or visiting http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/toledo-lucas-county-public/id472996970.
