PERRYSBURG -- It appears the future is secure for the Toledo Machining Plant in Perrysburg.

WNWO News has learned that Chrysler plans to make a $72 million investment into its Toledo Machining Plant in Perrysburg.

We've learned a new torque converter will be built there.  The new technology and equipment will not create new jobs immediately but will secure the plant's future.

However, it could create up to 200 new jobs in the next few years.

An official announcement is expected Tuesday morning.
