TOLEDO -- A Washington Local teacher is out of a job for exchanging sexually charged text messages with a student.
Matthew Warner was a seventh grade teacher at Jefferson Junior High School and he was also an assistant track coach. According to a report, the 25 year old was sexting the girl on the track team for a year.
Warner resigned after he was placed on administrative leave April 21, 2011. He admitted to sending the messages but says the two never had sex.
Toledo Police are investigating.
