SYLVANIA -- A Northwest Ohio holiday tradition is back in action at a brand-new place.

The lights and sounds of "Children's Wonderland" can be found at Tam-O-Shanter in Sylvania.

The family fun has been going on in Lucas County for 46 years.

Children's Wonderland's new hosts have kept all of the old favorites and added some new elements like bringing Santa himself in for photos.

"We're committed to this being an event that stays in Lucas County for a long time," said Jamie Moan, Director of Marketing.

"(He liked) Santa and the train and he just kept looking around at all of the lights and everything just caught his eye. So he had fun," said Children's Wonderland visitors Lenore & Whitten.

You can enjoy Children's Wonderland at Tam-O-Shanter now through December 30th. The display is closed on Christmas and hours will be shortened on Christmas Eve.

Hours:

  • Mon. - Sat.: 10am-9pm
  • Sun.: 11am-8pm

Admission:

  • Adults = $5
  • Children 3-12 = $3
  • Seniors = $2
  • Children 2 & under = free
